ABOUT ME

I am originally from South Carolina, located on the southeastern coast of the US - go Gamecocks! 

I love to travel! I have lived in Japan, Trinidad and Tobago, and I am currently living in Zürich, Switzerland. I have backpacked through Central America, Europe, Scandinavia, and Southeast Asia.

I fell in love with marine chemistry when I moved to Tobago where I surveyed coral reefs and was the lead Science Education Officer for a marine conservation organisation.

I have 200L Amazonian biotope aquarium in my living room.

I am an avid snow boarder, water skier, and scuba diver. I started a summer school to teach children how to snorkel while I was living in Tobago.

Fostering excitement and curiosity about science is my favourite thing in the world.
